Dimitris T. Papadimitriou received his Medical Degree and his Doctoral Dissertation in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Medical School of the University of Patras, Greece where he specialized initially in Pediatrics and then for 4 years in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology in France. He received a 2-year Diplôme Inter Universitaire (DIU) in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (Université Paris V), with clinical training at St Vincent de Paul University Hospital in Paris, and a Diplôme Universitaire (DU) in medical Pedagogy (Joseph-Fourier University, Grenoble, France), where he served as Chef de Clinique des Universités for 2 years. Since 2005, he is Director of the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes of the Athens Pediatric Center in Marousi.
